LOS ANGELES -John Adams may have had his doubts about the Old World, but the Hollywood-based foreign journalists who vote on the Golden Globes appeared to like HBO's take on our second president just fine, last night handing "John Adams" four Globes, one for best TV movie or miniseries and three for the performances of Paul Giamatti, Laura Linney and Tom Wilkinson.
